Tumblr darlings! Lend a hand?

I’ve figured out how I’m going to kick off Women’s History Month on campus, but I need your help!

See, what I’m planning to do is abuse the fact that I /technically/ don’t have a curfew anymore (transfer credits bumping me up to sophomore status whoot), to sneak around campus and leave rape culture fliers in obvious places at obscene hours of the morning.

This is, ironically enough, pretty much the activity that got me so passionate about bringing rape culture to people’s attention here in the Carolinas in the first place - I’ve been here since August, and I have yet to meet someone else who thinks it is actually okay for a woman to go out alone at night. There are a few people who have just accepted that getting me to not do it isn’t going to happen, but I have yet to find anyone who would do so themselves. I don’t expect to really change that, but I want to give them something to think about, some perspective on … well, why I’m not afraid, and why I don’t let fear control my activities around campus.

The thing I need from you, tumblr, is the fliers in question. I’ve seen some great ones roaming around, but I’ve lost track of most of them since they came across my dash. I’d make some myself, but convincing people about sensitive issues isn’t really my strong suit, and I know there are people on the internet much better at it than I am.

So, think you could give me a hand? Just post any good informational fliers on the subject - women’s rights, rape, and rape culture - that you happen to know of with the tag “activist ninja” so that I can find them and print them off. Thanks so much!

I’m a graphic design student, and if you want, I could create posters or something by doing research myself, or if you give me information.

I know we have each other’s AIMs, too~
